How do I setup my ZEYA diffuser?

  1. Insert three AA batteries into The ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser.
  2. Remove the ZEYA Fragrance Card from wrapper and insert into the slot on the front of the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser until you hear a click.
  3. Turn the switch onto the desired fragrance level either high or low.
  4. Slide the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser into the mount, if desired.
  5. The ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser can also be placed with the ridged side up on top of a table or flat surface.
  6. The ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser can be mounted upside down with at least 10 inches of clearance space to allow for optimal air flow and diffusion.
  7. When the fan is on and diffusing fragrance during the two minute cycle, the green light will be solid. The fan will stop for a period of time to allow for the fragrance to disperse before the fan kicks on again for another two minute period in order to maintain the perfect level of ambient fragrance. When the fan is off and the device is active during the 8 hour cycle the light will blink every 10 seconds. When resting for 16 hours, the light will be off.

How long do the ZEYA Fragrance Cards last?

They can last up to 45 days on the lowest setting. For a boost of scent, simply insert a new card whenever you want and turn the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser on and off to reset the timer.

How large of a space does the ZEYA Diffuser fill?

The ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser when used as directed with a ZEYA Fragrance Card can fill up to 400 cubic feet, approximately the size of a standard bedroom. 

What are the best batteries to use in the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser?

We do not recommend zinc-carbon batteries or rechargeable ones as these may not have enough power to operate your ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser for long periods. For the longest life, we recommend a high quality alkaline or lithium battery (such as the Energizer Ultimate Lithium battery). 

How do I know when to change the batteries?

The green light on the front of the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser blinks rapidly when it is time to change the batteries. If you notice a decrease in diffusion and the batteries have been in use for two months it may be time to change the batteries.

Why is the green light turning off?

The device is designed with an on/off cadence that allows for the perfect level of fragrance diffusion and optimal battery life. When the fan is on and diffusing fragrance during the two minute cycle, the green light will be solid. Can I use any fragrance card in my ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser?

ZEYA Fragrance Cards are designed to create a personalized fragrance experience for users. Any ZEYA Fragrance Card can be inserted into the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser and changed as often as you like. Inserting any non-ZEYA Fragrance Cards into the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser is not advised as they have not been tested for safety or efficacy.

Is there an issue leaving the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser on?

ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser is designed to automatically turn off after 8 hours of use. No fragrance will be released after this duration. Once the ZEYA Fragrance Card refill is empty the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser will no longer diffuse scent. Please turn off the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser and replace with a refill.

Can the start time be changed?

When the switch on the control panel is moved from the off position to either of the 2 settings (low or high) the ZEYA Portable Fragrance Diffuser is turned on and will run for 8 hours unless switched off. By moving the switch to the off position during the 8 hour cycle will terminate that cycle. Once turned on again, the timer will reset and a new 8 hour cycle will begin. Changing the intensity setting will not reset the cycle.
