Candle care

The first burn matters. Let the melted wax reach the edge of the glass. It helps the candle perform every time after.
Burn smart. Three to four hours at a time, on a flat heat resistant surface, away from drafts. Never leave it unattended.
Trim the wick to a quarter inch before each burn, and keep trimmings out of the wax.
Know when to stop. When half an inch of wax remains, it is time to retire it.
